3D printing
« on: May 31, 2025, 08:04:18 pm »
Picked up a 3D printer. Mainly because New York is starting background checks and may begin registering users. Typical Socialist crap from our useless Democratic/Socialist state government.

Have found many files online  for Dillon accessories to make, but zero for Star so far.
Anyone have any or know of some?
Would like a powder measure top to sort powder/bullet when puling.
Possibly other items as well.
Anyone have any or know of a source.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have a file to share but a case feeder would be completely doable 3d printing.

I machined one once and understand why they cost $250

A cheap stand in would encourage me to buy a few for presses that lack them.

NYKenn,

How about an off-ramp/finished cartridge slide at the taper crimp station that replaces the Safety Cam (#39U), or attaches to the Safety Cam Standard (#40)?

Folks make these out of sheet metal in a form of origami exercise.  :)

I only printed one item for my Star.  I started loading 22TCM and needed the case feeder top plate that would work with the .223 plunger.  The 9mm plate was too short and there was no way the .223 plate would work so I went to tinkerCAD and designed one.  It works!!

Will take a look into TinkerCad, but not yet advanced enough (or have enough time) to design yet.
Maybe later!
