Looking for  a shell plate for 44/40 winchester. I have a tool head that will take standard rcbs dies and want to reload 44/40's. Does any member make shell plates?

Thanks, Bob

Richard Daniels, known as Barrel tester on this site, has made them is the past.
Probably stills does unless he has moved to Florida.  tt

That is an interesting project, loading .44-40 on a Star. I want to load .38-40, .44-40 and .32-20 on one of my Stars.

A person posting as rbwillnj, on this site, rehabilitates Star presses and may have what you want, or may know how to obtain it for you. You may be able to PM him.

I contacted Rich Daniels about the 44/40 shell plate and will get one made.  He made a 500 S&W shell plate before for me. He still is in Conn.  Also will make a 9mm makarov expander die.  He did some tool heads 7/8-14 for rcbs dies.
