Some Lists of What to Take to Matches
Back to Homepage
I've found lists to be essential over the years for all my shooting trips whether to a local match or travelling to the National Matches hundreds of miles away. One of the items I find important is the pencil with which to add more items to my lists. I've also decided that having each item listed separately helps me to check each. For example, if I have "stapler and staples" as a single item I tend to check for the stapler and move on. So I have expanded the lists into single items. Now stapler is an item and staples is separate. I've broken the lists below into a series from the bare minimum to an elaborate list. I hope you find these lists of interest and perhaps helpful. If you are a revolver enthusiast simply omit the magazines from the lists or replace with speed loaders.

Special notes for some lists
- For Camp Perry and other multi-day matches add Scorecards - At Perry they will "sell" you replacements.
- Also for appropriate matches, add labels to the list - At Perry the label has all your "needed" data.
- **For Camp Perry a stapler is not necessary, but I leave it on the list. I have used mine to repair poorly pasted targets.
