New member, with a newly-acquired Star
« on: March 27, 2020, 08:49:23 pm »
Greetings everyone, I'm a new member from Sydney Australia, with a newly-acquired Star.

Thanks for having me aboard !

As mentioned, I've just acquired a Star Universal Reloader, in calibre .32 S*W L.

It's missing parts, and I've posted some pictures in the hope that someone knowledgeable will be able to identify missing parts that I will need to source -

You will want to contact Bruce Williams on the site. He owns Star Reloaders and can provide needed parts.
He is on this site as RBWillNJ

Good luck

Sure would be an interesting story to know, how it got from San Diego to ultimately being in your hands.

Thanks for the photos. Bruce will get you going in no  time.

I just found this topic.  WOW!  If I had a Star Universal in 32 S&W L I’d be burning up the InterWeb to get the rest of the pieces I needed to get it running.  If you’ve been in touch with Bruce, I’m guessing this is a done deal by now.  How about an update?  (maybe some more pictures?  ::) )  This is a pretty hard-to-find caliber for the Stars, at least in this country.

Regards,
Froggie

Actually,  I have sold a number of rebuilt machines to customers in Australia and parts to others.  We have a number of members on the forum from down under.   Outside of the USA, I see the most Stars in Australia and in the Scandinavian countries.

Florey55,

Send me an email to the address on the card below and I will send you a quote for the parts I see missing on your machine.    Please include your shipping address.
