Nice machine.

Only had chance to view a few in-lines, and none were any where near functional.
Good luck.

Mine was in 32 S&W long.  All complete.  A gift from Ellord.
Last time I knew it was at Ron Peterson Guns in Albuquerque New Mexico.
If it is still there and if you want to buy it you should call and talk to Ron.

With the Star Machine Works acquisition I got a box of very old 7/8-14 dies with no markings other than the caliber.   I assume they were made by Star and that they were for the Straight-line????

Last time I was out in Albuquerque for NRA NPSC, I stopped in at Ron Petersons Guns and inquired about the Stars he was supposed to have. The owner was not in the store and the 'senior' employee I spoke with had no idea what-so-ever. I postulated that Mr. Peterson had them in his home.

Not 100% certain, but believe so. Do not recall actual address now.
Smaller
store than I expected with parking lot on side street entrance.

Thanks. I lived in Albuquerque and recall it just east of Carlisle Blvd on Central Ave (old Rt 66) on the south side of the street . I bought several guns there, and remembered it even at the time (30 yrs ago) as an "old school" gun store.

Sorry to hijack the thread, it's just that the world is a small place these days.

Sounds right.  Ron has two businesses.  Most of his guns are sold in the store.  But if you ever get into the backroom you'll see firearms that are, well, unbelievable.  And his own personal guns are even better.  I'm pretty sure only Ron would know about that straightline and I'm equally sure he knows how rare it is.  But if you are interested in it, I'd call him, see if he still has it and make an appointment to go any buy it.
