WTS 44mag/special die
« on: October 19, 2011, 01:34:03 am »
Hello everyone,

I have a some Lifetyme sizing dies in 44mag/special that I want to sell.  They look to be new old stock, and the gentleman I purchased them from said he worked at Lifetyme Die at one time.  Most have extra decapping pins (1 or 2) and an allen wrench.  They all have the decapping assembly with the set screw in place.  The factory grease appears to be on all the decapping assembly threads.  From the Star manual I believe these are Star part numbers 15 and 21.

I'm asking $30 each plus shipping from 86442.
Please email if interested.

Thanks,
Lance

Until pending deals are completed or backed out, I am not taking further orders for these.
I'll keep everyone here posted when the situation changes.

Thanks for all the inquiries, and orders.

Greetings All,

My thanks to Lance for such prompt service.

I actually purchased more than one die. When they arrived, I noticed one had the Lifetyme LOGO roll marked upside-down! What a treat. Even the Pros make a mistake now and then.

I wonder if it is now a collectors item. Sort of like the upside-down Zeppelin stamps issued by the post office years ago.

FLASHBACK, I was at the post office in the 1970"s and an old granny was trying to post a letter with one of the aforementioned stamps. The clerk told her that the stamp was rare and she should take it to a dealer. Being not from America, she told him if the postage was not enough she had more of them! Finally, she made it to the stamp shop and increased her retirement.

Cheers,

Dave

Greetings,

I checked the internal carbide ring and it was the same diameter of one I borrowed from a friend.

Cheers,

Dave

The ones I purchased are the same as the one I already owned, so if they are seconds, I don't know why.   Didn't get any upside down ones either.
I would be curious how Lance came by so many of the same caliber.
