Dies for turning

I know some people have turned down lee dies for Star presses, what did you do for the seating die?  It looks like if I cut it to a 11/16 thread I will break through to the threads for the bullet adjuster.

Yes, you are correct, the Lee dies fall apart if you turn down the outside threads. I have modified RCBS and Redding dies; although, I prefer to machine dies from scratch to duplicate the original Star product. Considerably more time consuming and costly; but, I look at Star loaders as both art and function.
