Automatic cartridge ejector

I have had my star loader since the 1980 and love it.  When I bought it from an elderly pistol shooter it came with many extra parts. I have what i believe is an automatic cartridge ejector for rimless cases.  I have never gone through the trouble to attach it and figure out how it works.  Can anyone tell me if its worth setting up?

Welcome to the forum Bob.

You may have an M.A. Systems "Eject Ease" case kicker. If it contains a metal post that replaces the Safety shaft on the base plate and heavy wire bent in various shapes, it probably is a "Eject Ease". If so, I have the intallation instructions and would be happy to mail a copy to You.

The attached picture shows an Eject-Ease installed.   The Eject-Ease is nice because it can be used with any taper crimp die.  It doesn't require clearance between the taper crimp die and shell plate.  Unfortunately it is no longer manufactured.

That is a design that I am not familiar with, almost looks like it could be home made?  When you said that you had a lot of extra parts, did any of them look like they were not "factory" parts, or any things that were hard to identify?  This could be the work of an enterprising machinist from the past.  Might be tough to track this down, good luck!

Hard to say what You have here, but from the pic it appears to be some sort of auto advance assy.
