Need Adjusting nut for a taper crimp die
« on: October 09, 2012, 07:04:28 pm »
Does anyone have a spare knurled adjusting nut for a taper crimp die that they care to sell?
I bought a die off of flea-bay and the adjusting nut must have been cut off off-center or crooked
because it sure turns funny.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Bryan

Are you talking about the post style taper crimp die?

If so, the bottom nut is a 7/8-14, the same size used as a lock nut for standard dies.   The top nut is a 3/8-24, the same size used on the primer punch push rod.   It's a standard hardware item, but it's a fine thread so you may not find it at Home Depot.
