I have seen some of the old primer systems that held up to 1000 primers, if one ever goes off, you will wish you were somewhere else, George.

Primer explosions are rare, but when they do happen, every primer in the magazine goes off.   Can you imagine 1000 primers going off right in front of your face?  That's one accessory I don't need!

Looks like a Brewster primer turret.  The device sits on top of a star primer tube.  Back when they were made I talked to a fellow who had an explosion.  The star primer tube help but the Brewster turret did not.  It exploded.  Blew out all the lights in his workroom and started a few small fires.  Also cut up the top of his head a bit.

I had one on load from Brewster along with one of their automatic indexers.  Didn't recommend either device.
