CPM Machine ?
« on: May 30, 2011, 04:17:09 pm »
Hello Group; Found a .45acp CPM machine with a what could be a hulme feeder. The question that I have is what can any one tell me about this machine. Who made it? The dies are from early 80`s. Any guess on value? It has standard 7/8 dies, RCBS carbide sizer, almost like star set up as far as most all other functions, does take powder bushings, has powder shut off gate, so you can change bushings, primer tube looks like RCBS, Color is a light green. Seems well made.  Thanks Pappy

I am surprised that it has a Hulme case feeder as CPM made their own case feeder

Star Machine Works
Star, the original blue Press.  Made by machinist, not machines.

It must be like Glock. They pioneered it and then everyone copied it soon after.  The CPM is clearly not an origanal idea.  It must have been legal to copy the star?
