SHELLPLATES
« on: February 28, 2011, 05:27:15 pm »
Was looking through my shellplates, this plate is definitely a .38 Spec.... ???
Depending which way you look at the bottom, it has 6 or 9 stamped on it.
Does that stand for anything ??? 8)

I have some shell plates stamped "O2", which also is an oil hardening tool steel. Could be coincidence or a reminder for the person doing the heat treatment.
