Trail Boss Powder
« on: May 08, 2010, 12:31:16 pm »
A friend has lent me (he refuses to sell) a Star progressive reloader for me to load .38's. He has asked that I load some for him using Trail Boss powder. This is the relatively new powder that has the black dot in the middle. He wants me to drill out the hole in a B.E. 2.4 "O" powder bar to do this. I am reluctant because the charge bars we have are all original.  Suggestions?

Thanks for the help.  I will look into them

I would suggest an adjustable powder bar.
Two sources on this site.

RBWillNJ has the bars with inserr ts,
Barreltester makes the screw type adjustbale.

I have both kinds. each work well, each have their positives and negatives, but both worth it.
