What to use to cut plastic powder hopper

I have a powder hopper/reservoir that I purchased a while back that is longer than the standard usually found on a Star.  It is actually a little too big.  What can I use to cut off a couple inches without destroying it in the process?  Thanks in advance.

I use a power miter saw with a special thin blade for cutting plastics.
