Can't speak for Starrel, the Administrator, but can speculate from activities I have encountered on other boards that have buy and sell categories.
Often in order to keep them current, posts older that a specified date as determined by the Administrator are removed. More often than not someting that was for sale a year or more ago, is long gone or had been re-listed. Same thing for items that were for sale. It is an effort to keep things current.
