Thanks!  Removing the ball and cleaning the seat resolved the issue completely.

The shell plate on my Star Universal does not index precisely into position.  There's quite a bit of movement side to side when in position.  The large locking nut on the column is as tight as it can be without restricting shell plate movement.  Any idea what the problem may be?

Thanks for the responses!  Finding a toolhead for standard dies or drilling and tapping an existing one is a good alternative if Star dies cannot be found.

I am looking to purchase a Star reloader but haven't spent much time researching prices.  What's a reasonable price for a complete and workable setup?  Are any of them built for .32 ACP?
