Give it a good scrubbing with Marvel Mystery Oil using 0000 steel wool.
Follow up with some Simichrome 390050 All Metal Polish or other aluminum polish.
And you'll also need a can of elbow grease the size of the can will depend on just how much of a perfections you are.
