I have an unused Indexer made by Ray-Vin. I set it up with empty cases, but it has never had a loaded round run through it.
This is one of the last units made by Ray-Vin.
It is complete with all mounting hardware and manuals. All look brand new. Price is $125.-- PayPal preferred. NO FORN.

Yes, Star made a number of tool heads already set up to accept standard dies. I had a new one which I believe ended up with a high
master in the Pacific Northwest area.

There is a tool supply outfit in Brooklyn called Victor Machinery Exch. that supplied the correct tap and die for the powder supply system.
It MAY even be the outfit that supplied Star originally. They have been in business for about 90 years !! I have put Scott/Wes Lorenz
in contact with them.

Frankly, I cannot see how a So-Mar indexer can be used with:
A- A loaded round ejector.-, or more importantly--
B- A Taper crimp die
Please explain how it can be used !

Very few of the valves, dumps etc permit you to remove and replace a filled powder reservoir safely.
Scott Lorentz made a beautiful shut-off valve that replaced the powder slide top. But that is all it did.
I made a powder reservoir with a slide valve on the bottom. Star refused to endorse it because it was not idiot-proof. I pot a tiny
cotter pin in the valve to lock it open. I have used it for 40 years.

No! None of those suggestions will work with a TAPER Crimp die at that station.
One that DOES work is the Star ejector which replaces the safety cam entirely. It ejects AFTER the round is crimped. The original design of that one was done by Bill Mizner of Los Angeles. He gave me an alumimium version which I improved and then gave to Star. They further improved it and manufactured it in hardened steel.
There was another one advertised a while back that worked well too, when set up. U-Tube shows it, somewhere.

The Brewster Indexer was cause of many problems on the Star. Bill and Ellard disapproved of any indexer, even the SO-Mar.
The only recent indexer that was any good was the one made in Florida (MooN?) I still have a new one, packed away.

Whoa there! Putting a piece of brass tubing on that pin means that the primer slide will be moved further inward by the amount of the tubing thickness. It will bottom out sooner. Is that what you want?

The 2-stage .45 dies were particularly useful when loading the very thin Remington nickel plated commercial cases.

Looks to me that this unit was made by a Mr. Goldberg--- Rube Goldberg to be specific.
I never trusted any auto bullet feeder. Nor did Ellerd and Bill of Star.
