Thanks for the reply Ray Jones. I have rotated the base about 75 - 90 degrees counterclockwise, and it is way easier for me to seat a bullet. With my friends Arthritis condition, this will most likely be better for him too. With an offset handle, or reversed handle, he should be better able to seat bullets.
I will bend a new offset handle from barstock as you describe, and give it a try. Definately easier than reversing the handle idea of mine! This may be just the ticket for my buddy. Thanks very much for the idea. I'll report back on it after I make a new handle shaft; don't want to screw up the original.
