Well, after not using my Star machine for several years I cranked it back up.
It truly is a Work of Art, and as always loads perfect ammo.
It is a shame that they are no longer made.

They are truly a great machine, George.

Gents,
I just recently had the good fortune to purchase a Star, along with several fine guns from a gentleman that served our country in Guadacanal in WWII. I did not meet him personally but everything he had was like mint new, including the Star. I just today set it up and spit out 100 .45acp. I am afraid the Dillon will soon be relegated to obscurity. This is the fines piece of machinery I have ever had the priviledge to own and operate. I am sure I will be bugging you with stupid questions. Proud to be a Star owner.

I was recently taken to task by a "gentleman" operating a loading business who is very high on dillons. I had related the problem in feeding CCI primers. In his comments he referred to the star as "obsolescent equipment".
The only "advice" he could give was to check the primer feed tubes for being out of round or damaged. Apparently the part where I related other brands didn't give the same problem didn't penetrate the fog!!
I have 2 of these "obsolescent" machines & wish I could afford a 3rd!!
