Hey everybody... :D
I'm looking for the old fashioned Plumpers Furnace Head with the Propane Tank with the
3" Valve on Top..... ::)
Anybody help out.. ??? ???
The Furnace on the Left in the Top picture would be the type I'd like... :)
Picture of the Valve in the second picture.. ;)

thats the setup i use to make bullets, the tank yuou'll probly have to get new since the new regulations out, i think i payed around 75 bucks for it, as for the plummers pot type holder to melt lead, there very hard to come by, jerry

Thanks for the reply Jerry
No such animal 'NEW', the tank with that type of Valve ... >:( Nobody seems
to have any of those Furnace Heads... ??? ???
I've called around, but Nobody knows what I'm talking about or haven't seen
any for years.. :(
They, plumbers, haven't used that setup since PVC was invented........ ::)
I casted with a pot like that back in the 60's when I was on the Police Dept.
for the pistol team....The pot went with me to the new Academy and was
used to melt lead from the bullet traps.....I left everything there after I retired.........
It disappeared after that...I've gotten interested in reloading again and would
like to acquire that type of setup again....
Again, thanks for the reply and Happy New Year... :D

You might have to take the valve assembly out of the propane tank , make a fixture to use that you can support the burner and lead pot with, and feed it from one of the idiot proof tank with a hose.

Ask the old roofers. They used the same set-up.
Filling the tank might be a problem now days.
My retiring uncle was happy to give me his to get it out of his way.
I should have been gready and asked for both of them.
