Actually, I think Star only made aluminum spacers.....but

The spacers to convert a "00" powder slide housing to a 5/8" housing are .3125" or 5/16"

A "00" powder slide housing is nominally 5/16", so 5/16" plus 5/16" equals 10/16" which is 5/8"

Thanks rbwillnj

When I reloaded for the Shreveport Police Pistol Team (1960), I purchased  ' 1/2" '  and  ' 5/8" '  Powder slides... :)

I don't remember if Spacers came with the Powder Slides, But they were Brass.. :D

I recently found a set for the  ' 1/2" '  Powder Slide.....

It would behoove you to make a SPACER SET for a  ' 5/8" '  Powder Slide..... ;D

PLEASE  ;)

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all.. :) :)

Oh, by the way you Guys 'rbwillnj' make this neat Kit for 1/2" Powder Slides......... ;D

I have a new in the box 1/2" Star charge bar(14.8 gr-2400) that was delivered with spacers that are either aluminum or white metal not brass and I also have several other sets that are the same. I also have a 5/8 charge bar housing that is stamped 5/8" not OOOO.

It's very possible Star made Brass and or aluminum (white) Spacers..............

Again, the ones I received from Star were Brass.........

Star only Stamped  '0'  and  '00'  on their Powder Housing Bases...

Barrel tester (Richard Daniels) started the  '000'  and  '0000'  designations,  '000' for 1/2"
and '0000' for 5/8".........
