Post by: askimball (Doc) on March 14, 2011, 08:20:28 pm
Does a Thrust nut that is adjusted down to Tight keep the shells from exiting using the Case Kicker ??? ???

Yes it can. May bind on the rim, causing tightness.

I think I found the problem/'s, some of the shellplate shell cuts were pretty tight..Next I discovered that the #68U - Shell Floor Base Plug (Universal) wasn't level with the #12U - Steel Floor Base (Universal)
so, I'll have to address that situation later.........sigh.....

I have found some differences in base plugs, particularly in the degree of taper.
If you have more than one, try mating it to the machine.

It does seem a little unusual in the shellplate being inconsistent. That is not Star like at all!
