Greetings Doc,

Before you buy tubing, make sure the rims of the 45 Colt will fit through the Hulme feeder base. With my Hulme, they do not fit.

Cheers,

Dave

Yes Dave, I've tried this and modified a M3 Top Plate...
The Hulme is made out of Aluminum and is Stamped with the Hulme
Logo....
Thanks though for the Heads-Up

Dave is referring to the Steel Block of the Hulme Case Feeder I think.   Some early Hulmes did not have the T Slot at the bottom where the rim slides, and as a result, 45 Long Colt and 44 Magnum cases would drop into the casefeeder, but would not slide out to the shell plate.

rb
Understand, I tried my Steel Hulmes, ended up using the aluminum
Hulme I have..& milled out the M3 Top Plate to clear the .45 Colt case, it fed fine....I guess with the larger shell tubes I'll also have to mill out the top of the Top Plate.....
Thanks
