Star Adapter
« on: December 07, 2020, 09:08:32 am »
Found a Star Adapter listed for sale on Ebay.
Not really sure what it adapts.  Maybe a case feeder?

Tried to upload a picture but file size was too large.
Link may not work, but copy and paste in browser should.

Greetings,

Looks like a home made bracket for the Hulme Case Feeder.

It would attach to the Gooseneck at the top of the tool head.

Cheers,

Dave

Dave

Figured it was related to a case feeder, but not sure.
You confirmed it.
Thank you!

Isn't that one of the ones Bruce made/makes to adapt the Lee Case Collimator to a Hulme Case Feeder?  It looks familiar.

I still sell them, but the brass version is out of stock.  Hope to make more this winter.   The aluminum version is in stock.

PS  I have sold a lot of them, so maybe more will show up on eBay.

As your link was to 8 years ago, I would imagine that you have indeed sold a fair number of them.

As one of Bruce’s customers for this accessory, I can say without fear of contradiction, it is perfect for its intended purpose.  Even if I weren’t using it with the Lee collimator I’d still want it to hold the case feeder tube in place over my Hulme case feeder base.  The aluminum is adequate and functional I am sure, but the brass one is just so elegant!  Thanks Bruce!
