Star Reloaders / Indexer on eBay
« on: July 31, 2017, 04:28:32 pm »
Interesting indexer attached to a Progressive. Never seen one like this before. Does anyone have any information on it. I'm pretty sure the seller is a member here. Just curious.

Star Reloaders / Adjusting Locator Straps
« on: October 31, 2016, 07:55:59 pm »
Good evening,
I'm doing a  caliber conversion on a Universal from .38 Special to .45ACP. When I changed over the shell plate from .38 to .45 I noted that the locator straps interfered with the rotation of the .45ACP shell plate. I have loosened the screws holding the locator straps and have adjusted the straps to just clear the shell plate as it goes by, but have noticed that there is no resistance in the movement of the straps. With the screw loosened the straps move easily forward and at times interfere with the movement of the shell plate. Am I missing something? Is there a procedure for adjusting the locator straps? Thanks in advance!!

Regards,
Robert

Star Reloaders / M-A Systems Roto Ease
« on: October 05, 2015, 05:51:18 pm »
I have managed to acquire a new never opened box with a M-A Systems Eject Ease and a Roto Ease. I have seen pic's of the Eject Ease mounted onto a press, but not the Roto Ease. Would anyone have a pic of a Roto Ease mounted to their press. The instructions are hard for me to follow and a pic would help. Thanks, Robert

Gentlemen,
What is the purpose of the "teeth" at the top of the powder slide cam and also in the middle. Inquiring minds would like to know.

Star Reloaders / Time frame for the Brewster indexer
« on: January 22, 2015, 07:56:20 pm »
Hello Folks,
I've been totally mesmerized by the Star reloading machines. I've watched the Star videos on youtube dozens of times and I've been reading a lot of threads here. I don't have a Star yet, but I'm on the hunt...I have a question about the Brewster indexers. Not really sure I want one when I eventually get a Star, but I would be interested to know what time frame they came on the market and if they had any relationship with Star Machine Works. Was there any optional equipment available from Star for their machines? I appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Robert

Star Reloaders / Progressive or Universal
« on: January 20, 2015, 11:31:13 am »
Hello folks,
I'm new to the forum, but have been reloading for a few years. I have been doing some reading here and I hear mention of Star Progressive machines and Universal machines. I'm not sure that I know what the difference is with Star equipment. I currently load on a Dillon Square Deal B press, but also use a RCBS RockChucker for rife cartridges. Probably a stupid question but I'm hoping someone can clarify the difference with Star equipment.
Thanks,
Robert
