Iíve updated my reloading equipment and instead of these just sitting on my shelf, I think it would be better to sell them, so someone else can get some use out of them.
Here is a list of what I have;

Star luber - 250 obo     *SOLD*

45 acp tool head - 250 obo     *SOLD*

44 mag/spl tool head - 225 obo

.357 kit - 75 obo     *SOLD*

Star press - one for $450 + shipping
                  one for $550 + shipping
(they come with a 38 tool head)

-Extra springs and one primer change tool will come with each press
-One decal will be provided with the 44 head
-Shipping, insurance and other fees are buyers responsibility

Message me for anymore info you might want/need (including pictures). Everything works probably just need some adjustments for your specific load

If struck aluminum can create a spark. Not good around powder.

They are really nice machines. There's a wealth of experience available via this forum too.  :-)

Steve here... I have up for sale my Star universal set up in 38 special as shown in the pics. Unit has had little use, (pic of shell plate removed). Comes with 45acp dies and a pitted but usable 45acp plate. $550 shipped to the lower 48. Will be disassembled for safe shipping.
Thank you

Yeah, those pesky 1/4" machine screws. HaHa

Surprised the OEM Star mounting bolt wasn't a 17/64-28 UNS.

Sometimes people just don't have enough 1/4" bolts in the drawer.   I have seen several where the mounting holes have been enlarged.

Since only the two in the front mounting holes have been enlarged, I would guess it had something to do with mounting an indexer.

Acquired a new-to-me Star Universal.  Everything looks original and in good condition, but does need a good cleaning, fluff & buff, and lube.
I'm curious as to why a previous owner would drill out the two "front" mounting holes to 3/8".  Has anyone seen a mounting arrangement that needed the front holes opened up to 3/8"? Some sort of quick-disconnect arrangement?

Could make using a Ray-Vin indexer more challenging, I guess.

Greetings,

You have a Treasure Chest of tools.

What is the machine painted Green on the left side of the bench?

I also spied some Star greaser dies; so, there must be a Lubrisizer lurking nearby.

For prices, the basic machines are selling on eBay. Just search for Star and click on Sold items for a price range.

The hydraulic press will be a bit of a Unicorn. Not something for the casual user.

The RCBS dies, if complete, will sell for a premium at the current eBay auctions until the supply chain replenishes itself.

Best of luck.

Cheers,

Dave
