Thank you for the answer! It must go to another piece of equipment or press I have so I'll hang on to it.

It is not a part that I recognize as belonging to either a Star reloader or Lubricator Sizer.

I have a brass bushing or sleeve that either goes with my Star press or my Star resizer/lubricator. I have scoured the parts diagrams for both and studied both machines and I cannot find it. It may go to neither of them, but if anyone recognizes this part, please let me know. Thank you.

Dave, it might not be stainless, but it's a brushed silver color and is definitely steel. It measures 0.75 OD and the height is 0.705 of and inch. I think it is the drop through bushing as the machine is set up for 45 ACP currently and I do have a 38 tool head and set up parts for it.

Regarding the brass bushing, I was also thinking it could be a case guide for 38 Special brass, as 45 brass will not fit through it but 38 will with some room to spare.

Thank you for the help!

Greetings,

Star did not use Stainless Steel for the drop through bushing.

I would double check the fit of the bushing.

Should be 0.750" diameter and, I forget, 1.000" long.

The Brass bushing could be used as a guide for the case tubes entering the feeder housing.

Cheers,

Dave

The stainless bushing is tapered, the brass bushing is not. The brass bushing fits in the horizontal plunger hole in the case feeder, but since it's hollow, I'm not sure if it goes with the case feeder.

Probably right on the drop through bushing. Picture not really clear showing the taper.
I tried to use the grid for sizing.
Good eye.

Greetings,

Top photo, item on top right. This is a HyCar washer for the Star Greaser.

Sleeve at bottom is the tapered drop bushing that goes into the base of the Star at the last station. It was used to allow 38 Special rounds to fall through the base into a collection bucket under the bench.

Seating and crimping was all done in one operation at the previous station.

The other sleeve is a bit of a mystery...

Cheers,

Dave

Fairly confident in saying they are not press parts. I do not recognize at all.  Lubrisizer: maybe, do not know.
Bruce Williams (RBWillNJ) on this site, is able to tell you conclusively.
good luck!

I have 3 parts that I think go with either my Star press of my Star resizer/lubricator. The AA battery in the pics is for scale. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
