Title: Star Lubricator & Resizers REPAIR

I have a older Star Lubricator/Resizers it is still in pretty good condition. BUT the Fulcrum Lever bracket that goes around the lube tube is cracked on my machine. I want to keep using it but I don't want it to get worse or possibly break off
What is this part made of , I talked to a buddy & he said it could be welded or brazed depending on what it is made of.
Anyone got a idea of the material this is made of or on a posible repair or where to get parts.
