Stars Want to Sell/Want to Buy / WTS Lee Case Feeders with Adapter to Mount on a Star Reloader

This listing is for an assembly to feed your Hulme case feeder.   It consists of a Lee Case Feeder and Collator and an adapter to mount the assembly on your Star reloader.   The Lee Collator works in much the same way as the Freeloader in that you dump in handfuls of brass, and they turn bottom side down and fall into the tube.  The Lee case feeder has four tubes which can be rotated into position to supply more brass as each tube empties.

The kit comes complete with the adapter, the Lee case feeder tube assembly and collator and an 11" drop tube that connects the adapter to your Hulme case feeder.  The kit with an aluminum adapter is $65 and with a brass adapter it's $80.  The 11" polycarbonate tube that connects the adapter to the Hulme case feeder has a 1/2" ID which will work with all calibers up to and including 41 Magnum.   If you plan to load 44 Magnum, 45 Colt or 45 Auto Rim, I can supply a piece of original vintage Hulme case feeder tube for those calibers for an additional $5.

Note:   The adapter is not compatible with the case feeder that Lee currently offers.   A few years back Lee redesigned their case feeder into a Universal model and eliminated the Large Pistol, Small Pistol and Rifle models they had previously offered.  The adapter is designed to work with the Large Pistol version, and I have plenty of those in stock.

Star Reloaders / Surprise Packages

Today I received two packages, each containing a nice Star Reloader.   Only problem is, I don't know who sent them, or why I was so blessed.   Both packages had a label from the Atlanta Mail Recovery Unit, but neither contained a return address or any information that would help me discern who the sender was.  I believe the reloaders were repacked by the post office.

Loading Data & Reloading Procedures / Heads Up - Bullseye Charge Weights

I have a collection of Star BE powder slides all marked on their sides with the weight of Bullseye powder that the slide actually dropped.  It has been my experience for the past 10 years or so, since I started reloading with Stars, that BE powder slides always drop 0.2-0.3 grains more BE than marked on the slide...........until now.

I just bought an 8 pounder of Bullseye, and now my BE powder slides are giving me the exact charge Star stamped on the slide.

Selling 1/2" and 5/8" Powder Slides.   The powder slides are designed to accept bushings and I include a custom bushing with each powder slide.   The 1/2" powder slide with one bushing is $40.  The 5/8" powder slide with one bushing is is $45.   Additional bushings are $7 each.

I also have 1/2" and 5/8" powder slide housings as well as spacers to convert your "00" Powder Slide Housing to a 1/2" or 5/8" housing.

I have for sale a .380 Die Set and Shell Plate.   The sizing die is a Lifetyme carbide sizing die.  The seating die and expander are original Star.  The shell plate is a Phelps.  All are in excellent condition.   The set also includes my conversion kit for the Hulme case feeder.

The price for the whole set as pictured is $300 plus $5.35 for Priority Mail Shipping.

Still available for sale:  .380 conversions kits for the Hulme Case Feeder.  This kit consists of a .380 Top Plate, and a piston replacement for the Hulme Case feeder.  The price for the kit is $50 plus 5.35 for Priority Mail Shipping.

I didn't realise that this had dropped of the bottom of the WTS/WTB area.

I have an original Star 9mm Shell Plate for sale.  It's in excellent but not perfect condition.  I'm out of town, so I can't post pictures till next week.  Price is $90 plus $5 shipping.   First come first serve.  Sorry, I don't have 9mm dies to go with the shell plate, but Dave Wilson can help you with that.

I have four original Star 38 Special Taper Crimp Dies.  Selling for $40 each plus shipping.

I have a taper crimp die that I have been using for 38 Super.  I think this is a 38 Special die which has been shortened so it can be used for 38 Super.  This would also work as a Case Kicker Friendly 38 special Taper Crimp Die.  The price for this die is $25 plus shipping.

I have a 40 S&W taper crimp die that I bought from Bill Cunningham many years ago.  I think it is original Star, but I can't be sure.  The price for this die is $35 plus shipping.

Star Reloaders / Yellow Star Decal

Anyone ever see a Star decal like this one?   The original owner, a Bullseye 2650 shooter said he bought it new from Star in 1966 or 1967.
It's the only one like it that I have come accross.

Just a Reminder, I rebuild Powder magazines.   Send your old plastic or aluminum powder magazines to me and I will machine a new 12" polycarbonate tube to fit your hardware.   $25 plus return shipping.    Don't forget to include the lid!  If you don't have a lid, I have those for $20.

I also have complete new powder magazines for $85.

I have a few Brewster Powder Magazines available that feature an integral powder shut off.  These have been rebuilt with a new tube.   $50 each.
