Title: What came closest to a Star?

Not so much in terms of a copy, but general quality of manufacture for any progressive or semi progressive reloading press.(non commercial)
Was there anything even near Star quality?
Did the RL1000 cut it?

I think the RL1000 had some ball bearings built into it.  The RL 1000 was inspired formn the STAR .  One guy I talked too said It was the smoothest press hed ever used.
