Rich Daniels (Barrel Tester) produces shell plates.
Dave (fc60) makes dies that are outstanding, should you need any.

Loading Data & Reloading Procedures / Re: WST loads for 38 wadcutters
« on: January 11, 2012, 01:54:53 am »
Jep,
Go to the Hodgdon site at http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp and follow the directions.
It just about every load you might want.  The new Lyman 49th Reloading Handbook would also
be of help.  You can't cook without a cookbook and you can't reload without a reloading book.

Hello all,
The eternal question, to use or not to use lube on carbide dies.  A little lube just makes it easier
to resize.  Attached is the star directions.

Star Reloaders / Re: Primer Feed Bolt
« on: April 19, 2011, 10:57:21 pm »
Robert,
There are two bolts holding the primer slide housing to the side of the steel floor base.
They are a socket head type that takes a 3/16 Allen wrench and are 1/4"x28 tpi.  Mine
measured just over 1/2" long to the base of the head.
Hope this helps.

Star Reloaders / Re: SHELLPLATE PROBLEM
« on: April 18, 2011, 11:52:31 am »
Tony,
If you look in any reloading handbook you will probably find a list of
cartridges and their respective shell holders. The Lyman 49Th edition page
457 has pistol cartridges listed. I use the RCBS numbers as I use their
shell holders on other presses.
Hope this helps.

Star Reloaders / Re: Drill JNig For Hulme Case Feeder
« on: April 02, 2011, 03:15:25 pm »
Hello Dave,
Attached is the Hulme installation sheet.  I think the jig could be made by someone
with your expertise.  If a 5/16-24 bolt had a point ground on it, the placement of the guide hole
on the jig could be found using a newer machine as a guide. I have one older Star without
the hole drilled/taped and someday I was planing on making the jig.
Just a thought.  Keep up the great work.
