If there is any part that might fail I think it would be the de-capping pin. Other than that I have found the Star reloader to be pretty much bullet proof.

How do you get in touch with Maurice to order a powder cutoff?

Survey Says... / Re: Camp Perry

I made my first Perry trip in 1974 as an Expert class civilian. I was fortunate to shoot the top civilian score in the expert class and was a firing member of the Georgia State Pistol Team. We won the service pistol team match for state associations. I stopped shooting in 1980. I needed one leg for distinguished.
Started back shooting this year and really am enjoying it. I'm thinking about Perry this year. I wonder how much it has changed. Are they still using the WW2 prisoner of war huts for housing?

If that device lets you drain the hopper by slideing it over the little tube to drain into the container, its the best idea i have seen so far. I would love to have 4 for my tools. Let us know where we can get them.

I have only had mine a few months but as there is no contact between the indexer and the shell plate I cant see where the action of indexing will put anymore pressure or wear on the plate than manually indexing. The device will definitely increase the production rate by, in my opinion, at least double.

Survey Says... / Bill Cunningham and Star parts
« on: December 09, 2008, 02:53:05 pm »
I recently bought a Star universal with 45 & 38 heads. I picked them up at a gunshow along with a sizer luber and two bullet molds.
There were several small parts missing, such as the large primer mag and the primer follower along with the small primer mag and the primer punch and bushing. To make a long story short I emailed Bill Cunningham to order these parts. I received a prompt reply ( next day ) sent him an order and received the parts I needed today.
The whole process took two weeks and I am very pleased. Bill doesn't seem to like the telephone but did respond to email.
Just a personal comment.

Do any of you have a moon unit indexer? If you have would you please comment on the experience you have with this accsessory. It appears to be a neat device.

The first thing I would do is pull it apart and make sure you don't have some fowling in the slide. These things can really get grungy
