Does anyone know what happened to the web page for Star Machine Works? I had it on my "Favorite Places" but can't get it to come up any more.
I don't know, being new to Star machines, how good a source of parts they were. I see references to various people's names and maybe one of those is the proprietor?

I haven't been able to get a response from them for over a year. I'm guessing he finally let the website die.

Try that web site again www.starmachineworks.com loads ok for me today...can't vouch for response...anyone else had a recent exp, especially delivery of an order?

It doesn't load for me. Try hitting refresh. You probably have the page saved so you can access if off line.
-
Loads OK and does so when I try "refresh". Again I haven't tried to make a contact w/ them.
-
I couldn'g get it to load.

I've tried "refresh" and I've tried retyping web address in. What I get is a note that the web site exists but cannot be shown. Specifically, this is called "HTTP 403 Forbidden." I'm not computer-savvy enough to know how to get around this. Anybody been in recent contact by phone or mail?

No one has been able to contact Star for quite some time. I would say that Star is out of business.
-
Just called their number. The answering machine is still working. BUT this guy was never a credit to the star history. Such a sad ending to such a wonderful company.

Yeah, I wrote him some time ago--no reply.
CH is producing a carbide sizing-decapping die for me.

Hi,
Some time ago I advised I could load & refresh the website....someone suggested I had synchronized it. You were right as when I rechecked I couldn't access the site. Too bad the owner doesn't offer what ever he has plus the rights for sale.
I apologize for for erroneous onfo!

Some time ago, (maybe a year) I offered to buy him out. No response to that either.
