How is the sizing problem? I had another idea, can you get a hold of a 9mm that has already been sized? Try it in your press to see if that works smoothly. Maybe there is a die problem. Let us know.

Ross,
Thanks for keeping me in mind. Right now I am looking for acceptable bowls. Check back from time to time.
I may have a case feeder available I'd have to look.
Thanks again,
Tom

The Star Loaders were all made by a highly skilled craftsman. They are a first class press.

Glad to hear your getting back into bullseye shooting.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in information on a case feeder and an EZ loader or a indexer for your Star loader please let me know. They are both high quality accessories that I make for the Star.

Do you need a case feeder or indexer for your Star loader? Keep me in mind if you or someone you know would be interested in more information.

Thanks TDO

Also the top piece may need to be turned 180 degrees. The top piece may have been machined out to accept the .44 mag. If you turn it that will make he channel shorter and the case may not flip over.
Do you need an indexer for your press?

Are you sure it is a spring problem? Is the case feeder level with the press where the case is fed in? The triangular piece that it mounted on the head should allow the case to be fed smoothly. Maybe that needs  adjusting.

The most important thing is the condition of the press. I can always set you up with a case feeder or indexer, if needed. The press looked in excellent condition.

I would also be very suprised if that is a Star press. I thought the same thing about the base. The lifting arms also looked to big. Someone will be in for a surprise.

Yes, cleaning should help. Then adjust as described.
