Star Reloaders / Re: STAR COVER

Doc
Thanks for the Pic's. I'll have to get busy and get five of those ordered. I have been using plastic waste basket bags with a hole cut in the bottom for the handle to stick through. That works pretty good to keep the dust off the machines but no rust prevention.  Thanks again !

The Instructions for installing the Hulme case feeder has at the bottom of the page the following statement:

"THIS DEVISE IS LUBRICATED WITH LUBRIPLATE, KEEP IT LUBRICATED"

The Salt Shaker was probably A storage bottle for either grease or oil to lube the machines. it would have a cap without holes in it and an Ice Cream stick or rod of some
sort to get the lube out and applied to the machines. But , That's only a guess on my part.

Yes that is a cool old picture, Thanks for posting.
I'm still using a Saeco lead pot identical to the one pictured.
Appears to be a portable casting and loading set-up, perhaps for a police range, looks 1950's or so.

Could it be:   A roll/squeeze pin, with a cotter pin through the hole in the middle ?
Probable need a pair of Dyke's to get it out of there !   Anyway,,

I don't know if these tubes are an exact match of the original Star tubes, But I have been useing them for years and they work just fine. Thicker walls are also available.
They come in 6 foot lengthes but must be cut into 36 inch lengthes for shipping. Current prices are subject to change.   Hope This Helps.

Indeed the Setscrew is  10X32  by 3/16 long,  In the distance from where I measured it, to my computer keyboard it somehow changed from a 10 to an 8.

The two Screws are common hardware items and should be available from any good hardware store.
The setscrew for the locating strap is a 8X32 slotted setscrew about 1/4 inch long.  Most setscrews made today are allen head.
The one that holds the handle on is a square head bolt 3/8X16 about 3/4 inch long.
