I may be wrong but the Indexer looks homemade.
Just My 2.
Both units look very clean and fresh. Good luck with them.

My 2
If powder was left in the powder mag. for extended time, Moisture may have lumped some of the powder and stuck it to the recesses of the baffle and out of sight. Having some lumped in the recess after the old powder was dumped out and refilling and loading a few rounds the lumps are shaken off the baffle walls and caused bridging. I never leave/Store powder in the hopper after reloading a batch of bullets.

Star Reloaders / Re: Tool head die holes Question??
« on: February 16, 2016, 09:33:16 pm »
I have tuned down the larger dies and re-trheaded them to work on the Star tool head,, Much better to do this than ruin a tool head trying to drill out and re-thread the hole. It is very hard to drill the hole out and keep it straight and remain where it is supposed to be. Don't ask Me how I know this.

This is a pic of the machine to show how i raised it up to be able for the cartridges to drop down the ramp into a bread pan.
it also allows catching the spent primers into the red pan that slides under the deprime station. I have four stars mounted this way and can attach them as needed on the bench in the same place this one is mounted

Star Reloaders / Auto cartridge eject
« on: February 10, 2016, 10:15:52 pm »
I have been asked to post pictures of an "auto cartridge eject system" that I have on My Star reloaders. This system has no moving parts
and is virtually fool proof. I cannot claim this to be My Idea, Dave, (Fc60) posted a picture of this modification several years ago on the forum and I copied the Mod. I have recently added a wire whisker to guide the cartrige correctly under the last station crimping die.

Welcome to the forum Bob.

You may have an M.A. Systems "Eject Ease" case kicker. If it contains a metal post that replaces the Safety shaft on the base plate and heavy wire bent in various shapes, it probably is a "Eject Ease". If so, I have the intallation instructions and would be happy to mail a copy to You.
