I have been asked to post pictures of an "auto cartridge eject system" that I have on My Star reloaders. This system has no moving parts
and is virtually fool proof. I cannot claim this to be My Idea, Dave, (Fc60) posted a picture of this modification several years ago on the forum and I copied the Mod. I have recently added a wire whisker to guide the cartrige correctly under the last station crimping die.

Thank you for the picture.
How did you attach the "wire whisker" and what sort of wire did you use to make it? I assume it doesn't need to be as stout as the main wire that cams the finished round out of the machine.
Any chance for another photo with the whisker? :)
Thanks again!

Pic of wire whisker which is a loop of 20 thousandth stainless wire formed into a loop to avoid it beoming a meat hook for the finger.

This is a pic of the machine to show how i raised it up to be able for the cartridges to drop down the ramp into a bread pan.
it also allows catching the spent primers into the red pan that slides under the deprime station. I have four stars mounted this way and can attach them as needed on the bench in the same place this one is mounted

Lindy... And you probably have the forearms to prove it.. Those babies are HEAVY.
I like the mold guide you have constructed on your Lyman furnace.

Lindy, What kind of indexer is that, you have mounted on the risers. I mistakenly thought it looked like a Brewster to start with. I then realized mine are not mounted that way. Thanks RS

Ray-Vin has taken the Moon indexer and Case Kicker back from SB Sales Distributing. They say the moon indexer is shipping now and the Case Kicker will be back in the spring.

If you are looking for a less expensive alternative, I have quite a few of the Brewster indexers in stock.

I have a crop of Brewsters my self. I was just curious as to the attachment on the one pictured. Thanks for the info.
