Star Progressive reloader
« on: January 04, 2012, 06:11:42 pm »
Hello everyone

Mr. Paul Jones got me hooked on reloading in the 80's. I had a Star Progressive 38/357 plus a couple of Star luber/sizers. I sold all my reloading stuff about 15 years ago, I realize Star has gone out business but I still want to pick me up one if I can find one and start reloading again.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
David

Your post may get some response.
Keep checking the posts on this list, but be quick as most items do not sit around very long.
You can also check out Ebay. There are occasional listing for machines and parts.
Suggest you watch the prices, as they can vary considerably.

Good luck.

I have two Star Universals ready for sale, and will soon have a couple Star Progressives ready for sale.   I will email pictures of the Star Universals.

FWIW, whatever you buy from Bruce is top notch.  If you get one of his reloaders, it will be in perfect operating condition.

Thanks, Bruce

You can purchase a Moon Indexer from these folks.  http://www.sbsdistributing.com/index.php?pr=Star_Press_Accessories

Lots of folks on this forum use them and swear by them.

[Editor: Updated the link to the Star Accessories... the previous link resulted in a 404 Error. Note that Ray Brandes (Ray-Vin) designed/produced these accessories and SB Sales & Distributing now takes the orders and ships the products. All fine people, great products.]
