« on: July 02, 2012, 07:51:09 pm »
Anyone care to share any information on the Hulme Bullet Feeder? I have one and need to see how it mounts and what operates the movement.

Thank You,
Grant

I have never found any info on the Hulme Bullet Feeder.  Some Star guys swear that a Hulme bullet feeder doesn't even exist.

I would love to get my hands on one myself. I have seen them for sale but the seller will not say if the parts were all there and doesnt know how it works.

If there is any information out there, this would be the place to find it.

DOC,

That is the exact one!! I now know how it mounts to the press, I just need to see what makes the mechanicals move back and fourth. Any pictures of one installed on a press would be very helpful. I would love to talk to someone that has one operational!!

Thanks,
Grant

I am with Grant.  I have seen pictures of them before but without seeing one installed and in operation, I am at a loss on how the machine activates the feeder.

Being a Hulme, I am guesing it would activate similar to the Hulme case feeder.

 Doc,

Is that the bullet feeder you were looking to trade out?

What makes the arm with the fingers that hold the bulllet move forward (away from the press) to pick up another bullet. The spring action would move the arm back over the case.

Hi Folks, I just recently found this machine, and thought there might be some interest in seeing it. This machine is an engineering marvel! With the Brewster indexer, Hulme Case Feeder, and the Hulme Bullet Feeder, this machine kicks BUTT! I am still very careful of whats going on, because there's ALOT GOIN ON! The machine ran flawlessly for the first 100 rounds, and then I had my first jam, which seems to happen if the bullet does not fall smoothly into the Jaws. I think excessive bullet lube is the big problem. AnyWay, I will try to get a YouTube clip of it operating. It's great!

Hope the picture comes out, thanks for looking!

Would you be able to take a few close up pictures of the bullet feeder? I have been looking to see the opposite side of the one toy posted as well as one showing the piece that moves the slide back and fourth.

Thanks,
Grant
