You've heard of 44 S&W Russian, 44 Special and 44 Magnum..
Well I think/did create a 44 Short using 45 ACP case...

First with a Lee 44 sizing die I tap/pounded a 45 ACP case into the die and tapped it out with a rod sized to the ID of the 45 ACP case...

SLOW, but something to do...

I loaded a 255gr semi-wadcutter....

Your powder source left up to you, UNIQUE .....

Load of fun to shoot..........

Thought you might like to know this if you don't already know

NOTE: All Dillon Pistol Die sets include our sizer / decapping die, seat die and a separate crimp die. (Taper crimp for autos; accu-crimp for revolvers.)

I got the plastic tube from McMaster, 1-1/2 OD & 1-3/8 ID clear Polycarbonate.....
Do I take off the black plastic like sleeve that covers the base & black powder resviour before I fit the plastic tube........

Under stand about the differences....
When I was reloading for the Police Pistol Team I came across 3 boxes of Loaded .45 Rimmed...
These were in a brown box with JIM CLARKs name etc on the top...
Just found those in my shop clean-up..........

GUY WHAT, it was about HALF-FULL  >> New Star Parts..
Haven't inventoried them yet..
