Star Reloaders / Differences between Universal and progressive...............

Hi All
Can anybody say for sure whether or not there are any dimensional differences between a Universal loader and an older progressive model?
It seems to me that it wouldn't take much to cut the slots in and older model and change it to what ever you wanted it to load. Any opinions?
