I know this subject has been ridden hard and put up wet.. :o ::)
A poster made mention that the Brewster pushed on the cartridge case not the shell plate...
Some say it damages the shell plate and the base... ??? ??? ::)
What's up.......... ??? ???

The Moon Unit pushes on the cartridge case too. And it works just fine...

I have 4 Moon Unit Indexers running on my four Universals.
The .45 and .38 SuperComp machines get the heaviest use and
I see no signs of wear on the shell plate, base or anywhere else.
I frankly would not run a Star without a Moon Unit indexer.
Once the machine is set up with the case kicker (if you taper crimp),
and functions well, then add the Indexer. The only thing I have to do
is watch the case feeder, primer and put a bullet on the charged case.
I can knock of 50 rounds in a very short amount of time.
Ray has done a wonderful job on the Moon Unit.

Ray has done a fantastic job on both the Moon Unit and case kicker.
I found the following information on the 'Brewster' if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the information Mike. I have an old Brewster downstairs in the basement and was wondering if it was much of a trick to get it set up correctly. I agree though, the Moon Unit is a much higher quality device based on my short experience with it.

I'm guessing the Brewster is no longer in production, but the Moon accessoey is available?
If so, can anyone provide any information about the Moon part?
Thanks,
salty

the product in use.
