Loading 357 cases on a Star set up for 38 Special
« on: July 05, 2013, 10:01:17 pm »
I have a Star Progressive, not the Universal.  It is set up to load 38/357 however the Hulmn case feeder is 38 on one side and 45 on the other.  It is not tall enough to pass a 357 under it.  Do they make a spacer adapter to fit on the top plate of the case feeder or do I need to get another case feeder.  Just wondering.

Lloyd,

You need an M3A top plate for magnum calibers for your Hulme case feeder.   I have them.

Greetings,

The #16 Shell Expander Plug may interfere with the brass powder bar when you adjust it from 38 Special to 357 Magnum.

Cheers,
