Anyone have a source for the compression spring for the Hulme Case Feeder ?
I looked through Mc Master Carr catalog but didn,t find anything that would work
as a replacement.

Greetings,
McMaster does list a cut to length Stainless Steel spring.
http://www.mcmaster.com/#9663K78
I would have to do some calculations to see if the Spring Rate is the same as the Hulme spring.
When things in the Mann Kave get caught up, I can wind some on my lathe.
The spring in my Hulme feeder measures as follows...
OD = 0.505"
Wire = 0.035"
Free Length = 4.1"
Active Coils = 17 1/2
Ends Open, not Closed
Not sure why the spring has open ends. I generally prefer closed ends. It is possible they bought a long coil and cut off what they needed.
Cheers,
Dave

Hello Dave,
Let me know when you make some Hulme springs, We could use about twenty five or so.
the 44 sizers and 45 long colts are excellent as always. Give me a e-mail when you are ready to start.
Thanks Bob

Bruce, We reload with about 50 active Star reloaders and have about 50 set back for different configurations. We at one time used Ammo load reloaders but they are not as good as the Star..
I have Mocks personal rifle press. It is massive compared to regular stars. Also you wanted to know about the nut on the base of the lubricator. I have sixteen long tube lubers and I am sure that our first one was bought in 1968 they all have the nut. Hope this helps.
