Anyone know who made this Brass "Y" style powder dump?
Thanks, Jim Mc

I have never seen one like that, George.

I believe I got one like that from Richard Daniels (aka - Barrel Tester).....

Thanks for the info George, after you posted I saw a listing on eBay from Richard, looks like he's making a few again only with a brass screw in plug instead of the red cap. It works well.

Very nice unit.
However, there appears to be an area mentioned in ad,on ebay, about left over powder having to be taken care of after reloading stops. A total seperate function in its self, using another case, and another pull on handle
Is there any estimate of how much powder is left in the brass tube. Will one case hold it all?

Maurilew makes a very nice powder drain device.

Very few of the valves, dumps etc permit you to remove and replace a filled powder reservoir safely.
Scott Lorentz made a beautiful shut-off valve that replaced the powder slide top. But that is all it did.
I made a powder reservoir with a slide valve on the bottom. Star refused to endorse it because it was not idiot-proof. I pot a tiny
cotter pin in the valve to lock it open. I have used it for 40 years.

Here's the simple shut-off I made that Jerry mentioned.
