Title: Adapting A Star to Power Drive
Post by: Star73 on July 22, 2019, 10:04:35 pm
Has anyone had experience with building a drive unit or adapting one of the aftermarket units, such as the  www.MarkVIIloading.com
which are designed for use on Dillons' 850's or 1050's?

Age arthritis and other small joys are why I ask.
Thanks,
Ron

There are some people who have adapted to auto drive using the ammobot drive I think you can view it on you tube. With those systems you give up the fool proof loading of the Star. There will always be issues with those systems that will fail. If you want to auto load I would sell the Star and buy a 1050 and the Mark7 machine. It is also a big learning curve and very expensive.

It you want to load really fast you are defeating the quality of the Star .
If you need lots if ammo fast try a Camdex .
