Title: Purchased My First Star Machine
Post by: Allaces on March 05, 2015, 10:45:36 am
Recently at a match a fellow shooter had a Star Progressive for sale and since the asking price was more than reasonable, it came home with me.  I shoot a S&W M52 for bullseye and go through a lot of ammo for practice and matches, so having a dedicated machine will work nicely.  As set up it loads a perfect wadcutter round with 2.8 gr Bullseye.  Right now I'm looking for some clear polycarbonate tubes to use for a case feeder.  I've found one source of tubes in four foot lengths, but have to purchase a large quanity. If anyone knows of a source that sells in small quanity, say four pieces, 4-5 ft in length, please PM me.

Greetings,

See if there is a Grainger store near you. They can supply a variety of plastic tubing from their catalog. Also, they bring stock from out of the area to the local store at no charge, usually.

Another favorite of mine is McMaster-Carr. Probably the largest Internet Hardware Store there is.

Cheers,

Thanks Dave, I had forgotten about McMaster. Looks like they have exactly what I need.

Consider upgrading using the Lee case feeder.
