Does anyone make or have the adjustable powder bars for sale? I have also seen a bushing style but was not sure if they come with a range of bushings or if one bushing is made to measure the amount you want with the powder you want? How do you guys change loads (bullet weight or powder type) without changing the powder slide? The only option I can think of is solder the hole shut and redrill it?
Also if someone has the solution please let me know how much?

Greetings,
There are some aftermarket adjustable bars available.
I do not care for them as you spend a lot of time trying to get the perfect powder drop.
Personally, I use a brass bar with a 0.500" hole bored through to accept 1/2" bushings.
I copied the Lee Precision method and size the bushings in CC (cubic centimeter) values.
When I change powder, I look back in my load book to see what bushing I use last.
Cheers,
Dave

Rich Daniels in Ct. is on this site as BarrelTester He makes adjustable bars.
I have one I use for developing loads.
Once I found what worked, I used a fixed charge bar
Well made, brass with micro thread adjustment and locking nut. Reliable and accurate.
You might also try Bruce Williams on this site as RBWillNJ.
They also show up occasionally on Ebay.
Good luck.

Just curious, has anyone tried soldering the hole up and redrilling? The bars are brass so I would think it would take a ton of heat and the solder could be redone at will for different loads?
