Thanks for the Manual on the collator, I down loaded it and printed a copy for My file.
What I really needed was the manual on the bullet "FEEDER" if You have a link to that I would
appreciate it.

Don
I don't know if You have aquired these items yet but just for Your info the shell plate for 38/357 mag should also work for 40 cal and 10mm.

Appears to be Home made and very functional. The metal plate looks as though it has been Laser cut, if so it may be of recent manufacture. Just guessing here of course.

Greetings
That H&G mold is from when I first stated casting in about 1956, it is a 10 banger in .38 special semi wadcutter. I also have
H&G 4 bangers from the same period in wadcutter, semi wadcutter and round nose. All cast close to 148 gns with wheel weights. They have cast untold amounts of bullets. They are well kept, and I still have the original boxes  they were shipped in. The lead pot is a Saeco with serial # 18.

I'll Start with a Pic. of My setup. I'm sure others will follow with their Ideas.
I have several stars, they all mount on the bench in the same spot.

Go to the below listed page for 38Spl and then look up 9mm Luger to compare.

Star Reloaders / Re: Adjustable powder slide

Gentleman
I've been using both adjustable and non-adjustable powder slides for over 60 years on Star machines and have never noticed that one is better or worse than the other. perhaps I just got lucky and had quality adjustables ( mostly home made) but they were quite accurate and dropped consistent loads. Adjustables do speed up the setting up for a new Load.
I currently run five Stars all with adjustable powder slides.

Star Reloaders / Re: Adjusting Locator Straps
« on: October 31, 2016, 10:04:48 pm »
Hi Robert
There is a set screw that is screwed in or out to adjust for distance from the base and then a filister head screw that tightens the strap to the base.
Loosen the filister head screw and then push the strap against the base while adjusting the setscrew until it just clears a case installed in the shell plate then snug up the filister head screw. The purpose is to align the case correctly under the Die.
